BIG 2023 winners received grant checks
Out of 50 winners of BIG 2023, the check of Tk. 10 lakh as grant has been received by the best 25 entrepreneurs on Thursday, July 20, 2023. The Project Director (In charge) of iDEA Project Md. Mizanur Rahman handed over the checks at the Project office of iDEA Project situated at the ICT Tower of Agargaon, Dhaka.
At that time, the iDEA Project consultant and the Technology related Associate Coordinator of BIG 2023 Abul Kalam Ehsanul Azad, IT Service and Support Consultant Md. Mominul Islam and Human Resources Consultant Md. Nazim Uddin and other officials of iDEA Project were present in the event.
Big 2023 Chief Coordinator and iDEA Project Senior Consultant Siddhartha Goswami, BIG 2023 Associate Coordinator and iDEA Project Communications Consultant Sohag Chandra Das were also present.
Earlier, Prime Minister's Private Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman handed over a dummy check of Tk. 1 crore to each of the joint winners as the best startup of the best of BIG 2023 at the result release ceremony. The State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak presided over that event and declared that, each of the top 50 startups will receive a grant of Tk. 10 lakh for a total of Tk. 5 crore.
This ‘Bangabandhu Innovation Grant (BIG)’ was organized for the 3rd time by the ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Academy Establishment Project (iDEA)’ under the Bangladesh Computer Council of the Information and Communication Technology Division to inspire young entrepreneurs.
